finiacial difficulity

I am wondering what benefits or any other solutions i am able to get, i am 28yrs old doing my GCSE's at gloscat and work 16 hrs a week. Recently i had my housing benefit stopped since september, but only had a letter about it last week and now i owe £600 in overpayments.

This has now left me a bad postion as i can't pay my rent this month and all my bills, is there any benefits i can claim to help me. i don't know what to do, i did asked about the income support but they wouldn't give it to me.

Have you tried claming HB again? Did the HB stopping co-incide with you starting work or the course?

Yes, we really need to know why your HB stopped before being able to help; something must've changed.
  • it stopped on the 1st september because i am a full time student. but they paid me money in september and october, but none since then.

it gave me two housing benefit regualtions 53 and 56.

Could you not work full time and study part time? It shouldn't be difficult for GCSE's.

If you cannot survive as a full time student (and even doing 5 GCSE's full time, you should still be able to fit in 30 hours a week at work), then part time study would be the best option for you. You will not be quitting, just changing your mode of study.
