    Having a mixed day today!
    Weather is cold - I had the heating on for a little while thi morning but have tried not to put it on in the day (it is on timer and I am trying not to over ride it!) It is due back on anytime now - which is just as well cos my 6 year old is refusing to take his coat off in the house (do you think i'm cruel? lol)
    I made veggie soup with all the left over veg in the fridge, and bolognaise for dinner from the freezer and store cupboard (more because i can't face ASDA with the kids than good moneysaving - but it all helps!)
    The 2 younger kids are busy making Christmas cards - I will give these to family - save me buying spacial cards! made with love and lots of glitter!
    BUT I had to pay out £70 for a man to come and clear the drains - they were totally blocked! I could cry!

    I've not done a great deal today towards DFW really. I did go to work as I had a largish commercial job booked in and I earnt very well from it. After finishing that, I took my friend's son to his school Christmas fair and messed up a little bit by spending about £12 on him. However, I will make sure that there will be no more such spending for the rest of this month to bring me back on track - although I do have an Xmas prezzie to buy for about £50. Will just have to be frugal in other ways. The budget I set myself for Xmas prezzies was £100 and I will be just within that.
  • I'd say the most dfw thing I've done is get a spreadsheet put on my phone to track things - just one more to do for a daily spending diary now.

    I also updated my signature, joined the £10 a day in December as well.

  • I made a large trip for a football match that had been postponed due to bad weather costing about £20 in petrol, but spent the time catching up with family instead;
    Was bought lunch on Saturday by my Mum while we were out;
    She's offered to buy my old PC from me giving me some cash towards a new one.
    Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!
