I know what you mean, thats why I suggested you post here before agreeing to anything. I've heard CCCS have recommended them to a few people who clearly wouldn't have benefitted from IVA over BR.

Just to echo what others have said. Ditch GP! As far as I'm aware, DMP's are not legally binding and can be cancelled at any time by any party. My ex OH went with them for a while - worst thing he ever did. He could have saved to money he was paying to them to go BR but instead it took him a year to save the fees and all the hassle that came with it.
These fee charging companies are just out to make money and are preying on the vulnerable.Debt 30k in 2008.:eek::o Cleared all my debt in 2013 and loving being debt free

I worked out that when I was with them, based on an average payment of £300 since 2005 and that about £40 was the management fee- I could have payed off an extra £1,500 'ish'BR ON 21/10/2008 - EARLY DISCHARGE 07/08/09 WOO HOO!EBAY, CAR BOOT & BARGAIN ADDICT!:wave: :beer: :j0 -
