Hi i have taken some pics on my digital camera and uploaded them to my pc
i need to e-mail these pics to somebody else but the file size for each picture is around 2.50 MB, which means im unable to attach more than one pic to each e-mail...
is there anyway i can reduce the file size? so im able to attach 3-4 pics per e-mail?
the files are saved as .JPG
thanks

you can use microsoft office picture manager(click edit-compress) or if you don't have office use http://www.imageoptimizer.net/Pages/Home.aspx
free to resize them0 -
Use the free microsoft windows program you already have installed, PAINT, then Ctrl+W and then adjust horizontal and vertical to 10%. Save as JPG0

the one I use is also free, VSO image resizerUtinam logica falsa tuam philosophiam totam suffodiant.0

Or you could use Yousendit to send them all together. You upload the pictures here and the other person gets a download link by email (warn them in advance). It's free as long as files are less than 100mb.

If you are using Win XP and for example MS Outlook Express: right click on an image or select several images together (in Windows Explorer) then right click, find Send to Mail Recipient and click this option.
You will automatically be prompted to choose a sensible image size for emailing, do this and an email opens with the attachments already there, enter recipient's email address and SEND.
So, all done using built in free software that comes with Win XP.0 -
thanks for all your suggestions!
