Has anyone else noticed you can't make payments (i.e send money to another bank account) on RBS online banking? I used to be able to, but apparantly need a 'card reader' now??

Virtually all banks and building societies require you to have a card reader.I'm not cynical I'm realistic
(If a link I give opens pop ups I won't know I don't use windows)0 -
If you don't already have a card reader for your RBS account online, you can order one through the side menu under Account Admin > Order Card Reader.
I've used it myself to pay for bills online too, so it's for more than just transferring funds.Anything that I do say, is strictly my opinion

Got one now, should be coming soon.
Maybe I've just not done it in a while but wasn't the way it used to be the last time I did it!
