Hello ...i Own A 2002 Chrysler Voyager ..and The Breather Pipe From The Pre Heater Is Letting Out Alot Of Blue Smoke ..can The Problem Be Sovled At Home Or Does It Need A Garage To Sort Out ...and ...what Is The Proper Name For The Unit Just In Case It Needs To Be Replaced.... .also Can The Heater Unit Be Diconnected And Will It Effect The Running Of The The Car..any Help On This Is Most Welcome..:dthanks Emma:d

hi yes it is a diesal ...im trying find out what its true function is and try to fix the large amount of blue smoke thats coming out of the unit .....apparrently the car is supposed to smoke a little ..but this is loads and it bellows out ...i would like to find out what it actually heats up ...or just disconnect it ...but i dont know if it affects the running of the carHi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If it's a unit that heats up the inside of the car, it's like the night heaters in wagons. Basically they have a glowplug in the unit that heats up diesel and a fan to disperse the heat around the cabin. At this time of year, they smoke a hell of a lot. There's also usually a kind of dieselly smell to it as well.0
