Amazon.co.uk has just got stock of the City Fire Station 7945. And they're still £39.99. There appear to be at least 30 in stock. Just got one. Maybe I should have bought the lot?
I spent over 2 hours searching online last night and found none at less than £70. So, just like the secret of comedy, it all seems to be about timing.

Oh Marvin, thanks soooo much for trying to help. Unfortunately I had gone to take DS to a hospital appt by the time you posted, didn't log on again last night, and I was away from my desk with a customer all day today. I've just checked Amazon now (wed, 8:45 p.m.) but they have all gone of course.
Thanks anyway.I try not to get too stressed out on the forum. I won't argue, i'll just leave a thread if you don't like what I say.
