Is it just me or does the collar 'sit' funny
not just you. i really dont like it at all. if i had paid anything NEAR the £50 original price for it, I would have kicked off. I will be returning mine to store this weekend to exchange for something else. in my opinion this cardigan is cheap market stall quality - not the usual Evans quality.
They (Evans) need to be careful with their quality control. With stores like Next now going up to size 28 and Sainsburys Grace at size 28 with cheaper clothes, and clothes that in my opinion are better quality, they are going to lose their grip on the plus size market!!!0 -
I'm going to try and exchange mine for a size smaller tomorrow. I think I'm going to say that it was a birthday present and I haven't got the receipt (it actually was my birthday on 28th November so its slightly true!). I'll let you know how I got on.0

Havent got mine yet to see hun ..whish it would hurry up ..who delivered it?
Mine was just delivered by Parcelnet.
The waistcoat wasn't right on me either, nor was the boob tube top (that was a long shot anyway, but it looked terrible on!). Think I like the black & white jacket, but will get DH to give his opinion as I don't own a full length mirror and can't tell if it's a bit tight. Cardigans are fine-although I haven't checked my mum's ones for holes.
Taking the cardigans back to the shop without a receipt should work if you're exchanging. I took part of an internet order back before and it was over the 14 days (had bad back & couldn't get into town). She offered a exchange, but I only wanted a few bits from the sale, so she put the balance on a gift card for me.Cross Stitch Cafe Monthly Challenge Member #27

Is it just me or does the collar 'sit' funny
I went into Evans yesterday with my OH and tried these on, they looked really lovely on the hanger, but didn't matter which size or colour I tried on I just couldn't get the collar to go right - had my OH trying to turn in and bend it etc (whilst the stupid SAs just stood and gossiped...grrrr) but it def. just ended up looking odd no matter what we did.
They did have some lovely wrap things in black and grey (bit like a poncho only split up the front), the black plain and the grey with a wiggly edge reduced down to £15 though, which I loved by OH said I couldn't have as they were silly because they didn't do up at all lol.Do not feed the trolls please.0 -
I got mine today (the green one) and kind of turned the collar over a bit, but it is weird. I also don't like the bonkers wrist tassles and will take them off but I'll be wearing mine at work with black trousers and black camisole top.
Evans seem to go through phases of being really good and then really awful. They seem to have phases where they just seem to 'up' a style that suits a size 10 without thinking how awful it looks on someone who is a size 26!"Stay Wonky":D

I got the black and white jacket and am really pleased with it but the popper/buttons are very badly sewn on so I'll have to get my sewing kit out and fix them properly! I'm glad I only paid £14odd for it - I wouldn't have paid the full £55!0

my order arrived today but unfortunately without the cardi. OOS apparently. I needed to order the jeans anyway & got myself the nice printed blouse someone mentioned earlier on though so least I got them.
Hugs
