When did you all ordeR? x0

Something else - in the dispatch email it says: We will be charging 11.58 to the method of payment you gave us within 24 hours and it will appear on your statement as Evans.
I paid by Paypal and the money said it had gone out straight away. Had it not? I'm very confused
That shouldn't make a difference to who actually got allocated items should it?

I'm confused too!!
I put an order in late on Friday, which is still showing "new order" status, but my 2nd order which wasn't placed till saturday (thanks to the bargains spotted on here!) has been confirmed as being despatched!! They were placed 24hrs apart! Not had an "out of stock" email YET, but am not holding out much hope of the 1st order being fulfilled!!
The confirmed despatch had the Grey Tassled Cardi (£14), Black Studded Waistcoat (£9) & Black Glitter Print top (£9)
The one not showing as despatched was for the Beige Tassled Cardi (£9), Tweed Cardi (£14) & another cardi/top which wasn't one of the mega savings!
I'm wondering, like others, that Evans have seen the orders with the extra savings & cancelled them or are leaving them till last, to see if they run out of stock!
And with regards to Paypal - I've had this before & Paypal only reserve the funds from your card or bank account when the initial email arrives, but the money doesn't leave the account to go to the actual shop or website itself until such time as the item is dispatched & the payment is claimed by the company. It can be weeks (or, in the case of a transaction with Boots - months) later when they actually take the money. I bought a Dyson in the sale at Boots.com & it was already 50% off - I got the emails from Paypal but the status in the Boots site never moved from "awaiting despatch", even though the item arrived in 48hrs!! When the 30 day deadline expired, I got excited when the money didn't come out of my account, cos there is something on the T&C which say that the payment expires if not taken by the shop in 30 days, but the next time I shopped with Boots.com (about 6mths later) they debited both payments at the same time! I was gutted!! I was going to ring up & kick up a fuss about the payment being taken (cos it was almost £200 & could've taken me seriously overdrawn with no warning) but I knew I was in the wrong, so I didn't have the cheek!!Everything I wanna do is either illegal, immoral or fattening! lol :rotfl:0 -

As long as it has been reserved, otherwise it is probably going to bounce back. I'm all confused this weekend anyway because on Saturday we had £90 credit in our account but on Sunday there was zero available - and that includes the £200 overdraft facility!!!
Asked in branch tody and they said it was all on hold for Maestro transactions that had been in a backlog!!! They couldn't even tell us what they were or WHY there was a backlog  I just pray that the Evans purchases are part of it because we genuinely have no idea what all the other payments areLiving with Lupus is like juggling with butterflies0 -

Does this mean us ladies are all of generous proportions ?.........I think we should have our own club
In my case it's the generous portions that make my proportions generous, but yes, I do shop in Evans when M&S don't have what I'm looking for. Evans usually seems so expensive for what you get, though, whereas other shops don't charge extra for the added material they use in bigger sizes.:oMember of the first Mortgage Free in 3 challenge, no.19
