Hi MSE's ,
Just wondering , I am looking for an extremely cheap Freeview PVR so i can record a few of my favourite programs and i don't really want to spend much on it , even second hand is good if its in good condition.
and i don't want them subscription serices like virgin+ etc as i think they are a bit to expensive.
Thank you

If you have a PS3 then buy PlayTV, it uses your PS3 hard drive to record on & can be bought for about £50......What if the Hokey Pokey really is what it's all about !!!0

Thank you very much but sadly i don't have a PS3

not unless you want to buy me one , haha lol
Any more ideas , i don't even mind the size of the hard drive
Thank you

You are better with a twin tuner one but these start quite reasonably and gives you an idea of what to look for.0 -
Freeview+ and and a PVR aren't the same thing. Freeview+ is an enhanced version of the Freeview Guide that allows you to record programmes that are in a series or without setting a start and end time.
You're talking about similar things, not the same. As Freewview+ is relatively new you're unlikley to find it on the cheapest PVR's currently.0 -
Thnak you very much for that info , its very useful and thanks for the link for tesco.
But that is still pretty expensive , is there no cheaper ir should i wait a few months for the prices to go down you think???
