    At the risk of stating the obvious - Pocket Internet Explorer..? Supports Java but not the very latest standard.

    I'm guessing what you're probably after is "a free pocketpc browser that supports Java as well the latest IE or Firefox"? If so I'll be watching to see if you find one, I didn't.

    Not free but NetFront is the only one I know of.

    If just you're looking for better web page and JavaScript compatibility then you might have more luck with Minimo (which is free.)
