Be aware that several HP and Compaq laptops suffer from a known wireless problem. (Just Google it)
I have recently returned a HP DV9000 series laptop after it had had a new motherboard, and 2 new wireless cards fitted in an attempt to resolve the problem.
When somes keys fell off I refused to have it repaired again and got a FULL £700 refund from PC World.
The laptop was only 7 months old and had been away to HP and PCW Tech Guys 3 times.0
