Hi all,
I was lucky enough to transfer out the bulk of my savings with Icesave just before it failed, I did however leave £1000 to keep the account active in case the situation improved and I wanted to move the money back in. I later changed my mind and decided to transfer out the remainder and close the account. This transaction was caught up in the wobbly weekend and eventually returned to Icesave and placed in a new account.
The thing is ,when I recieved the money via the comp.plan I was paid £80 net interest on the £1000 that had been there for only a matter of weeks. What do you make of that ?

Was it not interest due on the amount you had already withdrawn? don't forget they paid interest up until 7th Oct.0

I imagine it was interest you were still owed on the larger amount you had previously moved out?
EDIT:Beaten to it0
