  • 20 minutes ago, Burnley Tesco Extra : This may or may not be an overprice...

Guy infront of me at checkout was complaining to cashier, and had a supervisor called because the wine he had picked up was going through at something like £5 when he was positive it had a SEL of £2.99. Something like that anyway. I couldn't see the wine very well, but it may have been Torres and labelled 'sangra de toro' or similar. White wine, with a whilte ish label.

    Could be worth checking out.

Nintendo DS Golden Eye: SEL/Sticker £14.94 Scanned £14.97
Coke 24 can box (probably still wrong at Bristol Eastville & I've told them 4 times!) SEL £6.75, Pack price & scans at £6.95
Philips HTS3300 DVD Surround Sound system: SEL £129.97 scans £149.97
Chicken drumsticks (getting scarce now): Large SEL £1.99/kg Packs £2.49/kg
Pork Loin chops (special offer pack) Large SEL £2.08/kg Packs £2.08/lb or £4.60/kg.
    Lastly:
The small cheese blocks that have the 3 for £3 offer on them and are usually £1.24 each. I always look at them (if I'm passing) and Bristol Bradley Stoke had all the different types at £1.17 or £1.19 on the SEL with £1.24 on the packs. They scanned at £1.24. This may be the start of more mistakes on these cheeses, like a few months ago! If you see them please remember don't buy more than 2 or the "3 for £3" offer will kick in and you won't be overcharged!
    This weeks refunds £420+.
Thanks to all who helped make this week, nearly as good as last week!

  • My oh got his first r&r last night, three sandwiches. Each reduced to 10p he was charged full price for. I was quite impressed because normally he will accept the difference. Why can't we ever find the large r&rs? Maybe we need to find a bigger Tesco?
