Freeview changed? Please help?

I have freeview.

Last night the display where you select the channel had changed considerably. There were adverts on it. It didn't all fit on my screen & it wasn't as easy to use.

I don't like it & want the old display back!

Have I linked into something else by mistake pressing a wrong button or something or has freeview changed for everyone?

If it hasn't changed for all can someone tell me how I might change it back?

Seg freeview box.

Don't understand reference to channel - I meant the display where you select what number channel you want to watch. There were flashing ads at the bottom of the page 'try ITV' 'Check flight times' etc & stuff at the top which wouldn't fit fully on the page so don't know what they were advertising.

PS Sorry I should have made it clear it was where you select the channel not that BBC have suddenly put soap commercials on!

there was a software update to Seg boxes(well the AESEGS7B) broadcast this week. You're stuck withit I'm afraid

Thanks Woby_Tide - It's so bad that if I didn't think they'll all change eventually I'd go & get a different one.

I suppose it's a sign of the times that 'freeview' isn't really free (from adverts)anymore. :mad:
