Microsoft Anti Sypware Scan

Was burning the midnight oil and the Microsoft antispyware scan appeared. All well and good but for the fact that it was two in the morning!

I cannot recall I have ever seen this before. How do I re-set it to scan at a reasonable time when my computer is more likely to be on?

Go to the Spyware Scan page, at the bottom it says "Schedule Scan Details" manage schedule, you can change time from here

Sorry to be thick, but how do I get to the Spyware Scan Page?

Found something to do with spyware but cannot find it now - duh! It was asking for a password, but would not let me alter the setting from 2am - my system is only three months old, and to my knowledge I have not put in a password.

Right click MS spyware which should be on your taskbar, and select Open, when it opens, top right hand side it says Spyware Scan, just above Run Quick Scan Now, click Spyware Scan and that leads you to the page.

You bet! I am not technically minded so it really niggles when I suddenly discover something that should have been happening as a regular occurrence at a reasonable time.

Looks like you are burning the midnight oil also!!
