Hi guys,
I have a JVC GZ-MG330H - Micro SD and am trying to watch the video that I have recored but having real problems.
I have done a backup to my PC and the snapshots of Video are all MOD Extensions. I am prompted to watch using a program from a pick list but all seems very poor.
Is there any good programs or am I just not watching properly?
Also, any good tips for creating a joined up film as I only have Widows Movie Maker and does not seem that good.
Thanks for any help offered

Bump.....please guys
Also cannot get any sound once I have renamed the files with a .wmv ext and played back through Windows Media Player:mad: .
Only just found out after watching my daughters xmas play on it:mad:0 -
Rename with .mpg0

As Donnie said.
The file format is mpeg2-ps. This is a very common format and there are a lot of tools available to edit it. See http://www.videohelp.com/tools/sections/video-editors-basic

Hi guys,
I am sorry to appear even more stupid than I have already but...
what do I need to do to reove my issue, I cannot see anything with a MOD extension in the videophlp pag and am really confused
Please advise?
Also appreciate the advice about renaming to mpeg but that is still long winded and I would like something a bit smoother:T0 -

?? If you can re-name them to .wmv, why can't you re-name them to mpg? Also cannot get any sound once I have renamed the files with a .wmv
I'm a little confused.
Anyway, have a go with the trial version of Power Director0 -
@looneygooner and all.
VLC media player may be able to play the renamed files. It is a fine program to have for free anyway.
