Finding acrylic panels/cladding for kitchen

Does anyone know where I can find glossy white panels to clad a couple of kitchen walls? Is this naff/tacky? Just have two narrow walls that meet in my kitchen that are poorly plastered and was thinking that covering them with some sort of acrylic panelling might be an easy option.
How much are they and are they easy to install? If anyone has any pictures of what theirs look like (if you have them) I would be very appreciative.
