HELP..Can you claim missold Insurance on loans and credit cards.

This might be a stupid question but no-one seem to have the answer but I'll ask again, My theory is that when your paying a IVA you are paying for the insurance that you have been misold , but the fact remains that you have paid for the "mis sold" insurance and over charges up until the point of the IVA starting...so can you legally claim them back?
