Spot The Ball

Options
Hi,

I am looking to add a photo to a sports club website where they have to guess where the ball is in the picture. So I am basically looking to have a photograph with a transparent layer witha grid on top, so that you can see the action and have to nominate the nearest square to the ball.

Something like this, in the Links/Trivia/Spot The Ball section.

Here

What is the best way to add a grid over the top with reference points. Would it be Excel or Fireworks? How would I achieve the effect.

Thanks in advance...Gracust

I just had a think about that and I use an old version of Paint shop pro and there is no easy way to do it but what you could do is decide what size all the pictures you are going to use are going to be. Make a grid that you like the look of and save it and then just copy and paste it over the image.

Then you can just keep using it and it can be the same size as the picture. Just will take a little time to do.

You might be able to do it in excel but IMO I would not bother trying.
