Brantub win. Thank you luvvabargin. (Updated for those who are interested!)

I got back from London last night to a WEM from Brantub stating I'm a winner from Tuesday. Thanks to luvvabargin for posting the comp.

It cheered me up a bit as the London trip didn't exactly go smoothly... Not only did I manage to leave my purse on the train  (including all my cards and the cash I've squirrelled away over the past few weeks) but, on arrival at our carefully chosen hotel, we were told there was a plumbing problem and we couldn't be accommodated :( . In fairness, they organised us an alternative with no fuss but it was still disappointing. Apart from that... we used my Blackrock Masters prize from Sky and got to see a great match between John McEnroe and Pete Sampras :D .

Oh, and when I got home, there was a message on the answerphone from a chap at the AA to say he'd been contacted by someone at St Pancras and my purse has been found (I had an AA membership card). I've yet to speak to the man who has it (he's on duty at 9 tonight) so I don't know if the contents are intact; it'll be amazing if so! *crossed-fingers smiley*.

Update: I've spoken to the man at St Pancras and not only is my purse safe, all the contents are still there!!! It was handed in by another passenger on my train who declined to leave her details. It's going to take some work to organise getting it back to me as it's now in a separate office and they've banked the cash, so I have to call again on Monday to try to sort something out. I can't express my gratitude towards this wonderful woman. I'm sitting here with a huge grin on my face - feeling all warm and fluffy.

Congrats on the win - lets hope its all there. There are still a lot of honest people around, My friend found a purse a while ago, she said it had about £200 cash and just an adult and child travel cards. This was in a shopping centre - she handed it in but afterwars got a sneaky feeling that something funny went on - when she went back there was no record of it being handed in and they said if it was picked up they would have deleted it from the system very suspect.
