Get Acronis TrueImage installed on your computer and create regular backups so you can roll your system back in case of future problems....

Who needs Dell when we've got MSEs:T
Do I want it? ......Do I need it? ......What would happen if I don't buy it??????
  • Yes, possibly the computer didn't need to be restored but it's a hard call when you don't know how to resolve the issue - you are dependent on somone else to help. Tesco did in the end but DELL didn't. No, Dell shouldn't get away with anything but how can you circumvent their process when they read from a script. I really do not feel they were any use and yes, this problem may reoccur. This is something Watchdog or similar should look into....

As for Acronis, I've never heard of it but shall look it up on the net - thanks for the tip.
