Hi I cant see it in my computer but if i put a disk in it spins and the light comes on but then just stops.
Do i need to check anything or try some software etc.

goto DEVICE MANAGER
have the computer look for new devices (Cant recall exactly what the option says):idea:0 -
The IDE (or SATA) cable may have come loose, or disconnected altogether.
