I have been off scrutinising the terms and conditions and to NOT pay anything you need to do the following:

    1. On the first page click the "Already have an MP3 player?" box
    2. Fill in your details on that page and click "start free trial"
    3. Keep it selected on the "PremiumListener" option (as Pigsback does refer to the £14.99 a month option) continue and enter your details
    4. Cancel before your 30 days is up! This says it is a risk free trial which you can cancel anytime within the first 30 days and you will not be charged until this time is up. You can keep the two audiobooks you download.

Stay away from anything to do with the iPod and you should be fine, I repeat, STAY AWAY FROM THE IPOD! :rotfl:

Sorry I didn't make it clear on the original post. If you sign up via the link you get a 30-day free trial.
PiggyPoints should appear within 14 days (or 14 working days, give them some time). And then cancel. Audible are a new site from America, so they must be using this to boost membership numbers.

And if nothing else, you get to keep your 2 free audiobooks from the trial.

It should be free. I've signed up so if I get charged I'll post back here.

Dial-up users beware ... It takes ages to download a book! I tried this out a few months ago when they had free downloads via the The Times.

It's a very good deal. I've signed up for the 30-day trial before, so I can't sign up again.

You need to sign up for the 12-month premium subscription @ £14.99 a month which allows you to download 2 books a month. You are free to cancel at any time within the 1st 30 days (immediately after downloading your 2 free books if you like :D ) and if you do cancel within 30 days you will owe nothing. Make a note of the number to ring to cancel your subscription.

As pointed out, however, the downloads can be lengthy and thus better with a fast broadband connection rather than dial-up. I've got the whole of 'War and Peace' in this way  You may also find that you need to adjust your Internet Security settings to accept downloads. Be warned, though, that there are lots of good audio-books on this site ... and you just may be tempted enough to continue with your paid subscription, lol.

It won't let you sign up with an Electron card and I don't have a credit card.

I hate it when companies do this AFTER you fill in all the other details!

If people haven't spotted it on the grabbit board choice (as in choice vouchers) have gone 'pop', so the chances of getting choice vouchers as rewards on pigsback aren't too good shall we say.
