Tesco Clubcard Vouchers - Bargain!

Sorry Bubbles - I dont know the answers to your questions have just got myself a clubcard and signed up for the life insurance.....
Does anyone know how often the statements are sent out and when you apply for the vouchers approx. how long they take to arrive. I am hoping to be able to cash in my extra points from the life insurance for a hotel/parking stay at Heathrow for the end of Feb. (excellent Hong Kong deal on flights also courtesy of moneysaving expert will make this a cheap trip!) - does anyone know if you can do this?
Thanks so much for any help clubcard experts! ;D
The statements and vouchers are sent out every quarter, being February, May, August and November.
It depends on the time of year as to how long tokens take to arrive. I have had them back in a week but one set I applied for around this time of year took three weeks to come.0 -
Only use as Airmiles for flights as I have enough vouchers for my summer holiday (Over 4k) and telephoned Airmiles to check on holiday equiv....and I have got a better deal by converting to use with Cosmos.....
£1000 in clubcard give me £4000 towards Comos but the same £1000 coverted to airmiles and taken as a package holiday with Airmiles only gave me £2500 !......so dont transfer to airmiles without checking what other deals are available.....(u may be able to get more value for your flights with other clubcard deals)0 -
To convert to BA miles you need to be a memeber of the BA executive club (free to join). Tesco used to give you 800 miles per 2.50 of vouchers - but now I think they give you 600 miles. If you have converted at the old rate of 800 they will still honor this.if i had known then what i know now0

Me again - I've really sparked off a discussion on this issue then! I was amazed that my vouchers for 12 free DVd or video rentals arrived yesterday and are valid until June 2005 - fantastic. How do you manage to rack up £1000 worth of clubcard vouchers - I felt amazes that I was organsied enough to collect £12 worth (the £0.75 is apparently credited to my account for next time! Hurrah for Tesco.
Another thing I have noticed with Tesco is that I shop with them generally about once a month online (really try to limit my supermarket visits as I can't bear it) and there is nearly always something small I can complain about - be it a dented tin, or a bruised apple or something sent in error or listed as being sent but not there. They are always brilliant about refunding you the money for something you are not happy with as they want to promote the service. I love online shopping as it is very convenenient and quick for me and I am nearly always happy with it.0 -
Just one more thing - I spoke to Tesco Clubcard and they told me if your clubcard vouchers are going to expire you can send them in and they will re-issue with a new date.
Thanks for that info. Mine have expired - £16 worthKeep forgetting about them so I'll send them off and see if they will exchange even though they are out of date :-/

A couple of years ago, we exchanged some of our vouchers for ferry vouchers to use on the P&O crossing from Portsmouth to Bilbao, which is extremely expensive.
Not only that, but we had enough to book a luxury cabin with a proper double bed and all the trimmings. It was our Silver Wedding anniversary year. Well worth it, and well worth saving up for!
It transformed the sadness we usually felt on returning to England to excitement, as we contemplated our posh surroundings.

I have over £1000 (worth over £4000) buy buying in bulk when extra points on offer...
I gained 38,000 points (£380 worth £1520) from electrical website when they offered 1000 points for every single transaction over £20.......and this included every thing on Electrical website including garden tools and gameboy/Ps2 games...so was a mega gain !!!!!!
Over the past year I have purchased Cheese Biscuits (yucky ones !) ,finest Coffee and Kitchen foil..all which were giving extra points which were in my favour to buy......
The coffee may have cost me £2.50 to by 2 jars etc but I was given 100 points (Worth £4 in deals).....the coffee has a code-date of July 2006 so I bought a years supply !!!!!
The cheese bisuits were an absolute bargain.....I gave them away lololol!
but a the mo there are no good deals.....think Tesco are getting wise.....and also think they lost alot of money on their Electrical website ERROR as people were putting through seperate orders..some 20+ orders.0 -
