I'm looking into these accounts at the moment, but I'm confused because your statements seem to conflict with the account T&C's which state...Am I missing something?
Ive just checked my account. My standing order definately left my websaver on the 1st of the month and into the regular savings account the same day. I beleived as you did, that it couldnt be done, but after reading this, i took the bull by the horns so to speak.

Thanks for that Judi. Just one more thing - am I correct in thinking that you can only make the one payment (by SO) into the account per month? Or could you set it up to move, say, £25 by SO (from a websaver account) and then top up by whatever you could from an external account via BACS transfer? The T&C's would suggest the former, but the other thread seems to suggest the latter is possible.

No thats not possible as far as i am aware. Anyway, surely by doing that, your complicating things. Move the 'external' money into the websaver and then pay the lot out in one go. You are allowed to pay in £250 a month, as long as you dont exceed that you should be ok. I would have thought would have been your best bet. Saying that, ive never paid in money into my websaver - i have just recycled the money out of the regular saver when it matured. I am sure someone will correct me if i am wrong.
