How do I import songs on to an mp3 player by II tronics

I have an II Tronics mp3 player but cant seem to put any songs on to it.

I have copied all the ones I want off my cd's on to a folder to my pc usinf WMP. However, I cant seem to import them on to the player as it does not recognise them as MP3's.

What do I need to do, do I need to convert them to MP3 somehow?

The full name of the player is II Tronics portable WMA MP3 player IMP-ii

When you said copied off your cd did you mean to used windows media player to rip the cd?
If you did then as long as the songs are showing as either .mp3 or wma format it should work.
Only other thing it could be if they are already in the correct format is some mp3 players do not like having the files within folders, the only way is to have all the files in the root drive of the mp3 player.
