Help with my printer

My printer works but when it prints its a bit of hit and miss some prints o.k but some lines are missing, not clear etc , can someone offer some advise please.

Are you out of ink? Does your printer notify you of that? When did you last change the cartridge?0

You could try some of maintenence functions, ie. nozzle check, printhead cleaning, if your printer supports them. Which model is it and how old is it? If it's a rather aged printer TS's advice might be the way to go considering how inexpensive they are.0

I would be tempted to change the print heads/cartridges. Failing that, run the maintenance functions as already said.“Hardware: The parts of a computer system that can be thrown out of the nearest window!”0
