Is it possible to change the administrators name on a laptop running xp?I`m fed up of seeing my girlfriends exes name popping up!

Control panel > user accounts > change account name

Why not got a bit further and set up a new administrator account (if you need one), and just delete the GF one (similar to previous post)? Always make sure that you have a minimum of two administrator-level accounts, just in case.0
