Hi,
Two years ago I successfully claimed against the Halifax and used a company called FJ McManus to do so and paid them a percentage of the money. After this I used them to try and claim against Llyods but was then referred to their sister company The Sherwood Partnership (who have been keping my claim since the High Court block.) At the time I didn't know how simply I could have done it myself with this site's help. They have all the statements (which add upto £6000 plus,) but now their website has dissapeared and the phone number is another company.
Can anyone give me any advice of what to do?? Thanks

Hi, it would be worth you paying £10 for your statements (SAR) from lloyds and then start the claim yourself, you have all the knowledge and the tools to help you on the reclaiming thread, including template letters to get your statements and then another to ask for your refund.
People are always here to assist you we all share our experience and pass on what we have learnt.
Hope this helps and good luck x0 -
Do you have a contract with FJ McManus?0

Hi,
I too had the same problem as you with but with card charges, but I have now received my money.
As far as I can tell, the company faltered and has now been taken over by the original directors dad. The company now has a new address and phone number hence your problems and is now called the Sherwood Partnership (2008) ltd.
If you look this up on google you should find all the details you need (they no longer have a website).
I have found that since it has been taken over the service is far better, as I tried for months under the old ownership with no success. I found the new owner to be more than helpful, and im sure if you give him a call he will dig out your details. I think its taking a while to contact all people though as the old ownership had such a huge backlog and no proper filing system, so until they hear from you they are no longer sure if your case is closed or not. I would give them a call, and hopefully you will get you claim on track again as I did
Thanks

Hi Simon would you mind telling me the new number for the Sherwood Partnership 2008 Ltd as I've googled it, tried directory inquiries and everything but no joy. I got the address which I think is now Dover but no luck with the number. It would be a great help as they've had my bank statements for 2 years now.
Thanks0 -

Hello,
I have dug out my paperwork, and the new details are as follows:
The Sherwood Partnership (2008) Ltd
10, Waldershare House,
Waldershare Park
Dover
CT15 5LS
Tel. 01304 824533
I hope you manage to get your issues sorted, mine was resolved within a few weeks of getting in contact with them, but I guess that all depends on how far down the line they were.
Hope this helps

Hello,
Not sure if this is what you wanted to hear, but I just googled conkers claims, and the site still exists, although it re-directs straight to their parent company.
Just something to be aware of, as I have noticed when I have made claims in the past, that if you cancel half way through they charge huge amounts for each piece of corresondance sent, and I would not want you to end up with a huge bill that wipes out your hard earned refund.
Thanks
