Lloyds TSB Gold account benefits

Some help/pointers please.....

Have been signed up to the Gold current account for some time now - paying £10 per month for the privilege.

Was going to downgrade the account as my wife and I now have a joint account and salary gets paid into that.

Account offers free mobile insurance (I currently pay £22.50 a quarter), free travel insurance, free AA (pay £44 a year), etc, etc

I am undecided on whether it is a good idea to stay with it for the benefits or not.

Any thoughts??

    Basically do the sums, i.e. 10 x 12 = 120
    4 x 22.50 = 90 + 44 = 134 plus any thing else you may also pay for.

On the strength of that keep the Gold account, or else don't lose your phone and fix your own car!

Personally I resent paying for the extra perks offered by these accounts.
