Our computer is not very good at the moment and I stupidly, by mistake, while trying to sort it out deleted Quicktime. Now, when I try to open Camedia, which stores all our photos, nothing happens.
I have reinstalled the Camedia software which didn't work and then went on the Apple site and installed Quicktime 7. This didn't work either. Then I went on the Olympus site and downloaded the upgrade Camedia Master 4.3 (our original one was 4.2). It's still not opening.
I don't know what else to do and am really worried as years of our family's photos are on there (I know very stupid to have them only on there). My son is joining the army in a few weeks and I wanted to make him an album to take with him but can't even do that.
Please help. Thank you

By default Camedia Master stores photos in C:\Program Files\OLYMPUS\CAMEDIA Master 4.2\Album . Unless you changed that location the photos will still be there.
If not search for JPEG files.0 -
And when you find them as per the advice above, back them up!0

Thanks. Tried that and there are only the sample photos in the album - the ones that come with it.
Do you have any other ideas?
Also, how do I get camedia back on again - so I can download the photos from my camera? I've tried reinstalling from the original disc and from the Olympus site but it just won't open.
Thanks again(Angus is my dog, not me ...)
