help me please,

me and the mrs have just split up and she has cancelled only 4 months in to the contract which was the 30 pound installation one,

anyway i rang up to get them to put it back on, they now say they cant because its gone through(we still have a dialing tone) and we will recieve a final bill within the next few days????

we cant afford this bill, why wont bt just put it back on
any help appriciated

Was the contract between BT and the mrs? If not, then write to them and tell them (they should have only taken instructions from the account holder).

If the mrs was the account holder, then all she can do is plead with them to reinstate the contract.

If it is in the Mrs name, then she is the one who has to pay the bill and you are not to worry about it.

i have sorted it, they say they will wipe all chages from the old contact(18 months)

if i sign up for a new twelve month one, so i have done that.
