Thanks. I'm already on there so I'll be keeping an eye out in the future for all baby related items.DMP Mutual Support Thread Member No 19017/05/08 - Total on DMP: £10025.7007/05/14 - Total on DMP: £1666.20 DFD: July 2017!!Baby Tomos born 5th June 2009 - 6lb 5oz :jWeight Loss Target - to lose 60.8lb by NYE 2015 - 37.6lb TO GO0 -
Can i ask have you declared the debt to your dad on your DMP?
Yes, it's on there as a loan from family member and the payment is on my budget. My boyfriend is applying for a 0% card today to put this debt on so I should be able to get rid of that much quicker now.DMP Mutual Support Thread Member No 19017/05/08 - Total on DMP: £10025.7007/05/14 - Total on DMP: £1666.20 DFD: July 2017!!Baby Tomos born 5th June 2009 - 6lb 5oz :jWeight Loss Target - to lose 60.8lb by NYE 2015 - 37.6lb TO GO0 -
I already live with him. I pay the mortgage he pays the other bills. If he bought somewhere in his name the situation would be similar. Either he pays mortgage I pay bills or we split it all 1/2 each. Should be similar costs to now except mortgage should be cheaper (my credit rating is poor hence high mortgage repayments) and no service charge.
if you already live with your partner dont you have to put partners contribution on the SOA on the BR forms .
i know we did when my OH went BR.
just a thought

I don't know. The way it works with my DMP, I haven't had to put him on there as I haven't included any bills (as he pays for them all). As I would be the one going bankrupt not him don't I only have to put my income + expenditure?DMP Mutual Support Thread Member No 19017/05/08 - Total on DMP: £10025.7007/05/14 - Total on DMP: £1666.20 DFD: July 2017!!Baby Tomos born 5th June 2009 - 6lb 5oz :jWeight Loss Target - to lose 60.8lb by NYE 2015 - 37.6lb TO GO0

on the bankruptcy forms you have to include the people you live with and add there contribution ..
as afterwards the OR will go through this with you and who pays what and why and when ?

Yes, you have to put their contribution but not their income
as afterwards the OR will go through this with you and who pays what and why and when ?
If you go BR, you will either have a face-to-face or telephone interview where they go through your SOA to decide whether or not you will be paying an IPA.
the OR will want to know the far end of a fart

Thank you everyone. I don't think I'm going to go down the bankruptcy route. I've just got to persuade my OH that I can afford the £100 odd for the DMP plus a new baby.DMP Mutual Support Thread Member No 19017/05/08 - Total on DMP: £10025.7007/05/14 - Total on DMP: £1666.20 DFD: July 2017!!Baby Tomos born 5th June 2009 - 6lb 5oz :jWeight Loss Target - to lose 60.8lb by NYE 2015 - 37.6lb TO GO0

Hi Everyone, I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who contributed to this thread. I'm struggling on with my DMP but totalled up my debts today and it works out I've paid off over £2000 off my total debts since June 2008. I'm getting there slowly. My boyfriends card is awesome and saving me a small fortune, I'm actually starting to make headway in that debt now I'm paying no interest. My DMP is plodding along slowly. Although it will be difficult when I start my maternity leave, I'm sure, if I reduce my DMP to the minimum, I should be able to scrape through.
I just hope by the time Baby is ready for us to move home, the housing market has picked up and my credit is looking a little better.
Thanks for the advise everyone, it helped me to make an important decision.
