Insurance quote - Fortis

I have just received an insurance quote for my car through Bradford and Bingley. The company is "FORTIS"
Does any body know about them?

Yeah they are an underwriter.

They give quotes via other companies like Bradford an Bingley.

We used to use them on the Abbey Home and Motor Panel for Insurance quotes.

Had house insurance with them via LLoydsTSB. Genarally OK but not very helpful at renewal time so consequently now with another company.
My car insurance is with Norwich Union via a special account holders deal with Newcastle Building Society. Its a lot cheaper than direct with Norwich Union and by far the cheapest deal I could find.

Hi - Fortis are a very well established international insurer.If insurance companies were in league football I would put them mid table in the Championship.

I am a member of the Newcastle BS. Did you get the insurance on-line?
