Is Transcend RAM reliable ?

Hello
One of my relatives has an older Toshiba Satellite A80 laptop and while fixing up her wireless broadband I noticed it was running quite slowly with a noticeable lag.
I was thinking of installing more RAM for her.
Looking at prices, I see that Crucial (which I know is one of the best makes) is £51 for 1GB.
But I also spotted a Transcend 1GB stick from a company called Orca at £35.
As there is quite a bit of price difference and the laptop is an older one, I am tempted to buy the cheaper one, especially as Orca also offers guaranteed compatibility, a lifetime warranty and free delivery same as Crucial.
Does anyone have any experience with Transcend memory and with Orca as a supplier ?
Many thanks in advance !!

crucial manufacture as well as sell memory, have a 30 day refund policy, and will swap if there is an issue such as the wrong density
There is also 7% quidco.
Is the £16 worth more to you than piece of mind?0 -
Orca are a good company to deal with - I've had no problems with them.My suggestion and/or advice is my own and it is up to you if you follow it, please check the advice given before acting on it.0

Thanks for all your input.
The PNY stick looks as though it is probably compatible but as you can probably tell I'm not an expert so I'm best to use one of the memory advisory tools.
Have decided to give the cheaper Transcend stick from Orca a try.
Checked in google to find they are a legitimate company based in Dorking and I actually phoned their Freephone customer support line which was answered very promptly indeed.
I spoke to a "real live English lady" who assured me they did exist !!0
