Thanks for all the replies people.
Might sound geeky, but I'm really excited about my purchase. Think I will get it next Saturday - ready for christmas.
In terms of a DVD player, I have got a surround sound system connected to my TV via an S-Video connection. Its a Sony DAV-C770,
Will this work OK with the Panasonic TV? Or will I need to get a new one to make the most of the better quality picture etc.
Cheers

Itll do the job yeah
Just bare in mind, a lot of people mistakenly believe that an upscaling dvd player is better than a none upscaling one.
Its actualy dependent on the tv its used on. The Panasonic your buying upscales SD material VERY well. So try it for 2 months upscaling, then try it for 2 months on normal SD to see which is the better (Meaning the tv upscales instead)
