Cheaper alternative to perspex?

I need a large "screen". It needs to be clear, fairly sturdy and large (around 4 feet high and 6 1/2 feet long). I also want to be able to cut a door in it.
Perspex is going to be hundreds, any ideas for a cheaper alternative?
Thanks

Have a look in Wickes at their acrylic sheets - admittedly I was only after something 2ftx3ft to put in front of the video etc to stop the kids posting toast in it but I think that was about £20. You might need to stick a couple of sheets together to get the degree of rigidity you want at that size but if you glued around the edges and around the door bit you wouldn't lose that much clarity.
You could also look at the polycarbonate sheets they use for roofing if absolutely transparency isn't an issue and you only want light transmission.Adventure before Dementia!0 -

Try http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Trent-Plastics
Good prices, just e-mail them with the size you want and they will provide a quote.0
