delay laptop purchase?

hello everyone

ive taken advice from here before and have decided on balance i need a new laptop as i have to run programmes such as autocad and photoshop, which i currently cant on my 256mb/40gb hd

however, is it best to hang on until after xams to take the plunge? price wise i mean

and to run big stuff like auto cad is it the RAM or the hdd which needs to be big?

thanks for all opinions

Swings and roundabouts on the price I think.

The RAM will need to be big to get autocad to run well, the HDD will need to be big if you are creating and saving lots of stuff
It's taken me years of experience to get this cynical
  • hi reggie thanks for that. do you know if 3gb big enough for autocad?
