Burtons online - arrgghh!

Or maybe this should read Parcelnet - arrgghh!
Placed an online order with Burton with 3-5 day delivery. Received a dispatch notification on the 25th November including a tracking number to trace the item's delivery through Parcelnet.
Parcelnet only shows "order generated" on the day of dispatch: nothing more. Either they never received the item, or they've managed to lose it, as it hasn't made its way from anywhere to anywhere!
Trying to call Burton's customer services line is a veritable nightmare: having selected the option for 'existing orders', it rings 8-10 times and then a recorded message tells you that they are unable to take your call, and cuts you off.
Eventually rang back and got through to the ordering line, and persuaded the person there to try and track my parcel. 20 minutes later, and they decided that Parcelnet "never received the parcel". No offer to send out a new one; they will refund my card (thankfully) and if I want the item, I have to reorder it.
Quite frustrated with their service, if I'm honest... but thankful that they offered to refund. Still, it's a warning to those who might be ordering...

Pretty straightforward this one. Parcelnet not to blame - Burton are at fault.
The item was either nil or mispicked and never got scanned to van ex the Leeds or MK. Burton warehouse. They obviously had no stock left to fulfill the order.0
