Hi waynemaria - I think the guys here are going to need some details, like which cards you've got at the moment and what the balance and interest rate is on each card.

I don't think anyone here can give better advice than that already given in Martin's article on Credit Cards.

All the necessary information is there but you'll have to make your own choices - see the "Can you pay off the debt within roughly a year?" section for example.

The thing that shouted at me about the figures you quote (apart from horror but that's a 'been there, done that' reaction) is all those interest rates are outrageously high and you need to move those debts to accounts with far lower (single figure or, better still, 0% - at least for a time) % rates.

Read the article, make a plan and stick to it.

Best of luck.
Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.
