But, if you use monthly figures, not quarterly, the average house price fell from £195,092 to £163,605, which is more like 16.13% drop! And it also makes more than 18%since the peak in August!·House prices in November were 14.9% lower on an annual basis. So Halifax and Nationwide are now conflicting.
Although delayed the LR figures are going to be the most accurate. (due to the ammount of transactions for all lenders)
The transactions these two must be basing their reports on must be so low they could be thrown very easily.0 -

The average house price stood at 163,605 pounds, HBOS said, a level not seen since July 2005.
Last month, Halifax said house prices fell 2.2 percent on the month in October for an annual three-month decline of 13.7 percent.
