problems with yahoo mail

hi can anyone help me please i seem to be having problems with my yahoo mail ,when i click the reply button to reply to an e-mail it just keeps saying loading and it wont load to let me answer the e-mail,this is causing me problems as i have stuff listed on freecycle and i cant answer the people that have applied for my items

Sorry I can't help, but you are not alone! I can log in, but cannot access my emails and haven't been able to since last night.

Their customer service number is 0870 352 2000 or for a free landline, try 020 71311000, though the woman answering the phone will either put you through to an automated service message which is no help (as it directs you to contact them via their online help, which is also not working) or she will cut you off. I have been cut off 6 times this morning.

If, like me, you are not a satisfied customer, here is their address to write to with any complaint you have...

I use Yahoo Mail (via Outlook Express) and, although I don't have your problems, over the last few days I've had an upsurge in 'failed' mail - to different known addresses, in different countries. I reckon about 20% of my outgoing mail is being affected. Further, my son has a UK Hotmail address and, in his case, he is not receiving emails from me, and I am not getting any 'failed' message in those cases.

All this suggests there may be trouble at mill.

I also use yahoo mail through Outlook Express, and it's getting through.
However, the Yahoo server site is very slow, and seems to be operating in emergency mode.

I googled "Yahoo problems" and found an American site which said Yahoo had problems yesterday on US servers.
Maybe we're getting that today.

This will also affect BT Internet customers (such as me!) as BT uses Yahoo for their email service - it's been flaky today; I assume they are still working on whatever the problem was.

Try using the webmail but logging in through alternative Yahoo portals overseas (in english) Yahoo Canada uses the US server, I think, but any of the others should be fine so long as it's not a global Yahoo problem.
