Thanks everyone for the macaroni cheese and veg in the hole ideas, I will be trying the macaroni tomorrow, freezing was for when I am working. At the moment I have been batch cooking things like lasagne, casserole and shepherds pie and taking them out of the freezer the night before, putting them in the oven on timer for when I get in from work (at the same time as the girls get in from school). Maybe I will make double tomorrow, freeze it and try it out on a weekend just in case.
Meal planning is great, but I do get fed up with the same things from time to time, looking at other os'ers plans give me ideas.
Has anyone had any success in making their own yorkshire puds and freezing them? Do they come out soggy or crispy like Aunt Bessies (who's puddings I can't stand, I'm guessing it's the taste of all those additions that keep her's crispy which make them taste yuck!)0
