My ex-gf used her home address but called them to inform them of the 2 address situation. Direct Line were very helpful and I don't think they added anything to the cost.0

Might be worth getting quotes for both addresses from the comparison sites and see which is cheaper - postcodes play at least some part in the equation! But then tell them about the two addresses situation.Signature removed for peace of mind0

Hi - try Endsleigh as they specialize in student insurance and take into account term time and home address. No guarantee of them being cheaper and from experience it's always worth ringing them to try for a cheaper price as their on line quotes can be pricey. Also try dna insurance.

Endsleigh sky high for me!
Doric insurance, who are brokers. They were miles cheaper for me!0 -
The official line is, you put at whichever address is more expensive to insure it at, otherwise the underwriters are liekly to either charge you additional premium when you claim or refuse the claim.
The insurer will tell you which one this is.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
I'd do the address where you spend most time. If it's 50/50, then take your pick.
As long as you're on the electoral roll at your uni address, they can't say that you don't live there - same with your home address......0
