actually it was not the job that i went for(applied for).
i had an interview for a job at my local d/o and i passed the interview and checks etc. but i was put on a waiting list and this new position in a different town came available so they contacted me as its not very far from me. but i would still like to be considered if they did have a vacancy's at my local delivery office.

I'll bet there are jobs which are only advertised internally so you'd be in the best possible position!

They might be able to transfer you.

My OH works for RM full-time and hes doing overtime right now... there's nearly always overtime available and he says they're a really good employer...
