There was an offer advertised in my local Tescos to get 1000 points if you get pet insurance with them - can't remember the details but was hung on a hiuge sign above the tills.

Update: Its also advertised on their front page for pet insurance

I would be very careful about Tescos pet insurance as they dont cover for life only up to £4k of treatment if you take the extra cover or else just £2.5k under the normal rates. Not a lot if poor moggy gets run over and survives or gets a life long condition such as diabetes
  • Check out the M&S Pet Insurance https://www.marksandspencer.com. Saw this on a earlier thread they cover you up to £7,000 vets bills each year. I'm thinking of taking this insurance out on my pup. PF

Marks and spencer do offer excellent cover at very reasonable rates, I have my dog insured with them and it came in at a hefty £15 a month less then Petsplan plus I have no excess to pay. In the first year I claimed over £1k in vet fees and have had no exclusions added to this years policy,in fact its a few pence cheaper and they have increased max payouts. Im more then happy with them and would reccomend them to anyone

i used to have tesco pet insurance but changed because they take about 6 /7 weeks to pay out a claim and that was with me phoning them a few times i now insure with sainsburys as they have a higher limit it is 6,500 and its a cheeper monthly payment.
    stay lucky!
    Steve.
  • We've just changed our dog insurance from direct line to RSPCA pet insurance and a percentage of the proceeds goes to the RSPCA shelters. Checked and it looked as good as Direct Line was offering me but DL wanted £18.85 per month RSPCA is £11.40 (dog is 10 yrs old)

  • Anyone know what is a good insurance to cover you if your animals where to attack or cause damage? I have two staffordshire bull terriers 6 and 4 1/2 who are lovely but my mum's friends dog who has always been lovely recently attacked another animal and hurt it's owner when trying to stop them fighting.

Any ideas on which insurance would be best? thanks
