smalls room???

hi ladies anyone heard of a smalls room?? just got a new place and its deco or just after war it has a small room with a window off the bathroom but no electricity supply it has a shelved alcove similiar to an airing cupboard approx 31/2' x 4' plus alcove, not an airing cupboard as house has one on landing. the door is…

My Great Aunty had one in her bungalow (50's built) which is over the road from mine when she moved in - sadly mine doesnt have the same! She dismissed it and used it for other things but then soon found how useful it is and dries nearly everything in there. It's a godsend while you're working and so out all day and unable to keep an eye on washing but not wanting to spread it about the premises and have it looking like a Chinese Laundry!
