My laptop is running Vista and yesterday and today it is trying to download the latest windows update. When it does because there are updates of Office/Word 2007 in it that I do not use it causes my Office/Word 2003 to not work.
I have done a system restore back to 29.11.08 which solves the problem but the computer just downloads it again.
Can anyone please help me as to how to solve this as I should be updating the computer?
Has anyone else had this problem?

You can select which updates to install0
-
Control Panel > Windows Update. Select "Download updates but let me choose whether to install them". Deselect the Office updates when it prompts you to install and there's a checkbox saying something like "Ignore these updates in future".0
