Interesting article. It's worth also thinking about just how much you are 'monitored' during your daily life. The profileration of CCTV, The signal that your mobile gives off that can be used to track where you have been, the Cookies on your PC, ANPR cameras.....the list goes on. Even posting on these forums people give an amazing amount of info away about themselves even though they think they are anonymous behind their username...even to the point where you could identify their real name.

Perhaps privacy is a thing of the past?

This one's an easy one to get out of - just cut up your Tesco Clubcard (assuming you bothered to get one in the first instance)

Nobody is forced to give away information about themselves on message boards etc, and the information you HAVE to give to banks, insurances etc is protected by the DPA.

I do not have a club card,I'm not therefor familiar with the terms of use, you might be giving consent for this information to be used. However, as every retailer knows, getting the right goods on the selves at the right time at the right price is the road to success.
You can expect all corporations to follow suit, that i thing is the moral of the story.

Or, more to the point, where *you* are (to within about 10 metres) *right now* assuming you have your mobile on you.

    It's all sinister stuff.

Any advice that you receive from me is worth exactly what you paid for it. Not a penny more or a penny less.
